Set off early in the morning from Lagonisi and cruise southeast into the Aegean, leaving the Saronic Gulf behind as you approach the Cycladic island of Kythnos. After a few hours of scenic sailing, your first stop is the breathtaking Kolona Beach — a natural sandbar stretching between two hills, forming twin bays with turquoise waters on both sides. It’s one of the most unique and photogenic beaches in Greece, ideal for swimming, drone photography, and paddleboarding.
By midday, cruise toward the northern part of the island and anchor near Apokrousi or Loutra, where you can bathe in natural hot springs right at the sea’s edge or simply enjoy the tranquil beauty of the coastline.
For lunch, dine at a seaside taverna in Loutra or Merichas, where you’ll taste fresh seafood and local Cycladic dishes. If time allows, visit the whitewashed hilltop village of Chora or hike briefly to ancient Vryokastro, before starting your return trip to Lagonisi — or spend the night onboard in a calm bay under the stars.
